Envision is excited to be a participant in Measure N, also known as the Oakland College and Career Readiness for All Act. The Measure N parcel tax was approved in 2014 and provides a wide range of support to students and schools in the areas of: college preparatory coursework; work-based learning opportunities; drop-out reduction and prevention; and more.
As educators, we understand that the health and well-being of students is key to academic, social, emotional, and physical success. Research confirms the clear connection between student health, learning, and attendance. Adolescents with poor general health are less likely to graduate from high school or attend college. Make sure your children have health insurance! The Health Insurance Information link above has information in both English and Spanish, and contains everything you need to know about how to access affordable health care coverage for your family.
