ABOUT ENVISION ACADEMY

Envision Academy of Arts and Technology (EA) is a tuition-free public charter school in Oakland, serving grades 6-12. We are dedicated to transforming students’ lives by preparing them for success in college and in life. Envision Academy offers students a rigorous academic experience and a diverse, compassionate community in which to grow. Our students are inspired and empowered to be leaders in their education and their communities.
Our middle school and high school are located at 1515 Webster Street in downtown Oakland. This campus is part of the Envision Education network, which was founded in 2002 and consists of 5 schools in Oakland, Hayward, and San Francisco.

ENVISION ACADEMY NEWS

This past February 2025, Envision Academy had a very special visit from Interim Oakland Mayor Kevin Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins, a truly connected and inspiring leader, shared words of encouragement, appreciation, and acknowledgement for the important and urgent work our teachers and staff do every day. He even issued a special Mayoral Proclamation honoring Envision Academy for being “a leader in educational excellence, dedicated to student-centered learning and equity in Oakland” and for “fostering a pro-Black, anti-racist environment where all students, particularly first generation college bound students, can thrive.” We are incredibly proud to celebrate this honor and recognition from our beloved city’s Interim Mayor.
