We are looking for participants for our 8th Annual Career Day on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019. From 8am-12:55pm at Envision Academy. Located at 1515 Webster St.

For those that aren’t familiar with Envision Academy, we are a public charter high school located in downtown Oakland. We’re part of the Envision Education network and we strive to transform the lives of students – especially those who will be first in their families to attend college – by preparing them for success in college, career, and life. With the majority of our students being 1st-generation college students, we use career day as an opportunity to expose our students to the possible career options they’ll have as a result of their higher education.

The format is simple; you’ll be part of a small panel speaking to two different classes of students over the course of the morning, and then participate in a career fair at the end. We would like you to talk for approximately 5-7 minutes about your career, the story of how you got there, the education and training you received, and anything else you would like to share. There will also be time for the students to ask you questions.
